August Full Moon Dreamboard

This is my Dreamboard for this month’s Sturgeon Full Moon. It’s special to me, for several reasons.

I’ve had the image of the wise Native American man in the centre for about 5 months already, wanting to use it, but somehow it never fit on any of the other collages. Now it finally did. I’m not sure what it means, maybe I’m ready now for whatever it is that he symbolises, but I’m grateful for it. Just looking at him gives me peace and strength and courage.

I didn’t really have an idea what would show up on my dreamboard this month. Once I felt the wise man would fit in this month, I knew I needed an eagle as well. And something to represent La Loba, the Wild Woman. Having looked at my dreamboard a lot the last few days since I finished it, I now realise what it’s showing me. It’s time to go deeper, to not stay on the surface so much anymore, but to take a deep breath and go deeper. To connect with the ancient wisdom of the the wise man, with the fire and wildness and passion of La Loba, with the clear and sharp vision of the eagle soaring through the skies, with the creativity and the intuition of my inner muse, with the sacred sound of my singing bowls, with the elements of nature even if I’m living in an urban jungle with not a patch of green in sight. It’s a bit scary and liberating at the same time.

It’s also about wanting to find my soultribe to share my journey with, to connect with women and love and support and encourage each other. One of the hardest thing about moving to the Philippines last year for me was to find new friends, people to bond with. Last Sunday I hosted my first Dreamboard Circle. Some of the women I’d invited were so enthusiastic, they’d asked me if they could bring a friend. We were 8 women from 8 different countries, 4 different continents. It was an afternoon full of magic, where we tuned into our dreams and made new friends to share them with. I’m an expat and so are a lot of women I spend time with. There’s something very intimate about expressing your dreams out loud and doing so creates a bond. Even if you’ll never see each other again, you’ve shared a piece of your self and your soul with each other.

And now it’s the Full Moon and I’m in Rome, the Eternal City. I’m so grateful to be offering my dreams of going deeper to the Goddess Moon in a place that’s steeped with mythology and history, layer upon layer upon layer. Amazing things are happening and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Magical. Simply magical.

How beautiful to read your journey with these symbols and this board. It’s amazing to see how the wise man slowly arrived to become a part of your life at this time. This time of going deeper.

Wonderful you for hosting a dreamboard circle and creating such a special experience for the women involved. How amazing to bring together women from all over to share the evening and their dreams. And I see “share” on the dreamboard too.

May you and your soul tribe find one another. May all of your dreams come true.

Your board is beautiful. I was instantly drawn to both the Native American and the eye with the red…may your creativity enrich your soul

What a beautiful dreamboard, full of wisdom. I am struck by your words, “It’s also about wanting to find my soultribe to share my journey with, to connect with women and love and support and encourage each other,” as I, too, am looking to discover my soultribe so that we can inspire and support one another…

I love how you held that image precious until the right time presented itself. And how amazing that you created your own dreamboard circle and gathered women together to dream. That is such a powerful thing, that circle full of women.

May your wishes and stirrings bring you a plump harvest of desires.

May you dive deep into the depths of your dreams, creativity and abundance and the ancient wisdom of La Loba. May you find your soul tribe.

How wonderful that you hosted a dreamboard circle. Powerful!
