I had been creating “vision boards” on my own since I was young, but always in an unstructured, intuitive way, and always alone. It had always felt like a secret activity, something that couldn’t be shared because I wasn’t sure if others would understand me. When I met Loes van Mierlo and became part of her Dreamboard Circle in Manila, I saw that there were other kindred souls out there who were looking for inspiration and clarity the way I was, and I felt emboldened and empowered to really go for my dreams.

Since that fateful Dreamboard Day, I have gotten married to the love of my life, started teaching (like my dreamboard said I should), and embarked on a European adventure that opened me up to a world of possibilities. The dreamboard still lies on my ceiling, so it’s the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I sleep. It serves as a reminder of what matters most to me, and encourages me to dare go on those inner and outer adventures that are still waiting to be explored.
